allpay Limited, a leading UK payment solutions provider, is proud to announce its partnership with two esteemed national charities, Turn2us and the Workers’ Education Association (WEA). This collaboration highlights allpay’s commitment to addressing financial inequality and fostering social value in communities across the UK.
In July 2024, allpay made significant steps towards enhancing its social impact by donating £3,000 to each charity and committing to work with these to support individuals and communities grappling with financial insecurity and promoting adult education, two critical areas that align closely with allpay’s core values.
Supporting Financial Security with Turn2us
Turn2us, a national charity with a vision that everyone in the UK has financial security so they can thrive, will utilise the donation to further its mission of offering high-quality information and support to those facing financial insecurity. Financial hardship is often accompanied by high levels of stress, which can negatively impact mental and physical health, leading to social exclusion. The £3,000 donation from allpay is expected to support approximately 300 – 350 individuals and households through Turn2us’s information services, such as Turn2us Helpline and Turn2us Benefits Calculator. They offer information and tools that enable people to maximise their income, including access to welfare benefits and grants, offering a lifeline to those struggling to make ends meet.

Empowering Adult Learners through WEA
Founded in 1903, the Workers’ Education Association (WEA) has been dedicated to making adult education accessible to all. The donation from allpay will be used to fund educational sessions that empower adults, particularly those in low-income communities, to develop essential skills in employability, financial literacy, and digital literacy. The initiative is expected to engage 60 people in adult learning, with at least 25 participants enrolling in further educational courses. By fostering education, allpay is contributing to the personal and professional development of individuals, which also positively impacts their health and well-being.
