Fueled by personal challenges in his youth, Tony embarked on a journey over three decades ago to transform the payment landscape. Witnessing the inefficiencies of traditional methods, he envisioned a more accessible and inclusive system.

Innovating with an electronic payment approach, Tony partnered with the Post Office, introducing unprecedented convenience nationwide. Today, over 4.5 million end customers benefit from allpay’s services, with £9.4 billion in transactions, fostering financial inclusion and shaping lives. Tony’s dedication remains unwavering, providing ongoing support for vulnerable individuals through accessible payment methods.

Michelle Pacey, leading the way for women in Fintech

As Managing Director of allpay, Michelle Pacey brings a unique blend of strategic insight and creative flair to her leadership role, stemming from her strong background in Marketing and PR. Having previously managed various aspects of the company, Michelle has stepped up to oversee the entirety of allpay’s operations, demonstrating her ability to navigate and manage the complexities of the business.

Leveraging her expertise in both fintech and media, she works closely with the owner to propel allpay to new heights and deliver innovative payment solutions to a wide range of industries. Michelle’s dedication to excellence and customer empowerment has solidified allpay’s position as a trusted leader in the payment services industry.

    Established as Financial Collection Services (FCS) Ltd. Two clients and four members of staff

  • 1995

    First printer purchased

  • 1996

    First swipecard produced

  • 2000

    Rebranded as allpay.net Limited

  • 2003

    Partnership with Westfield Football team began

  • 2004

    Relocated to Whitestone

  • 2005

    Tony wins Entrepreneur of the Year Award

    Completion of a second, purpose-built office and production area

  • 2008

    allpay becomes Visa and Mastercard Accredited

  • 2008

    allpay cards launches

  • 2008

    allpay became PCI DSS compliant and partners with Post Office and PayPoint, allpay cards is launched

    Rebranded to allpay Limited, and first payment card produced. Tony wins Entrepreneur of the Year Award

    Launch of our inhouse design and print business, allpay Print and Design

  • 2011

    allpay offers to help with broadband cover in Hereford

  • 2012

    Launch of our allpay Payment App, making payments easier by allowing quick and simple transactions straight from your phone

    Work begins on third allpay building at Whitestone Business Park

  • 2013

    The launch of the 24 Housing

  • 2014

    Became a Living Wage Employer

  • 2015

    Significant upgrade to our Prepaid platform, and new Direct Debit portal introduced

  • 2016

    Announced as the winner of the West Midlands Living Wage Champions Award

  • 2016

    The first 24 Housing Awards

  • 2017

    Prepaid programme wins award, and allpay become E-money issuer*

  • 2018

    Partnership with ClearBank

  • 2019

    Brand and logo refresh, and the company collected over £100m in one day

  • 2020

    Double award win for Prepaid programme, at the Emerging Payments Awards and Payments Awards

  • 2021

    Prepaid recognised with Financial Inclusion Award win at the Fstech Awards and Michelle Pacey appointed as Managing Director of allpay Limited

  • 2022

    Partnership with Payzone to bolster Cash collection solutions and with Salt Edge to boost financial inclusion with Open Banking

  • 2023

    Record Prepaid load and spend in March of £37.5m and Winner of Commerce Apprenticeship Employer of the Year Award by the HWGTA
